  • Will Perun upper-only kits be offered?

We do now!!

  • Will Peruns be offered in California?

Yes, Builder's Kits and 16" barrel length Peruns with 10-round mag locks.

  • Do I need a Class 3 license to own a suppressor or SBR?

No, you do not need to have a license to own one. You will need to file a Form 4 with your FFL/SOT dealer and pay a one-time $200 tax to the ATF for each suppressor, short barrel rifle, or machine gun you purchase.

  • How to purchase firearms online?

1) Select your Gun
Make sure the gun you choose has the features you want, such as caliber, magazine capacity, finish, barrel length, etc...  You need to make sure the firearm is legal in your state or locality.  Some states have restrictions on magazine capacity or have "Assault Weapon" laws.

2) Select a Receiving Dealer
A firearm cannot be shipped to your home. Only a dealer with a Federal Firearms License (FFL) and SOT license (if NFA item) can receive the firearm for you.  It is at this dealer that you will go to fill out the appropriate paperwork before the firearm can be transferred to you.  The dealer will most likely charge you a fee for this service.  You should contact your dealer prior to shipping a firearm to them to ensure the transaction is completed to everyone's satisfaction and without any surprises.
We can ship to any dealer with a valid FFL and SOT (if NFA item).

3) Place Your Order Online
When you checkout, please enter the name and address of the dealer you want us to ship to in the shipping address fields.  Of course, your name and address go into the billing address fields.  If you have not yet selected a receiving dealer at the time you place your order, you will need to contact us as soon as possible with your dealer's information.  You must contact them and have them email a copy of their FFL to us (info@aea-arms.com) referencing your order.  Any delays in selecting and contacting a dealer may result in delays in processing and shipping your order.

Please Note: All returns (including background check rejection) are subject to a 35% restocking fee.  Please inspect the firearm at your dealer before it is transferred to you.  If there is shipping damage, we need to be notified as soon as possible.

  • How to purchase an NFA item online?

After your order is placed, we will transfer your SBR with suppressor (if included in order) to your preferred local FFL/SOT dealer in your state.  Simply provide us their contact information and we will obtain their FFL/SOT information. Form 3 transfers are initiated within 24 hours of receiving your order and dealer information.

Once the Form 3 is approved for transfer to your local dealer, you may contact them to begin the Form 4 process with you. Your local dealer will collect your transferee information/documents and the $200 BATFE transfer tax per NFA item, as well as a transfer fee for himself for handling your Form 4 paperwork and storing your items.
