Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING POLICY

What is the cost of shipping?

Due to weight and value, all firearms from AEA Arms will be shipped by UPS and calculated at checkout. Under each product's description page, there are states where we will not ship to. If you feel there are exceptions to this, feel free to reach out to us (info@aea-arms.com) and let us know why. All UPS shipping will require signature release.

When will my order ship?

Orders will be processed within 24-48 business hours upon receipt of all required FFL dealer information. NFA items require approval prior to shipment and will be shipped within 24-48 business hours of receipt of approval from the BATFE (Form 3).

 

Where will the orders ship to?

AEA Arms ships to dealers within the United States. Many products on AEA-arms.com are regulated by federal, state, and local governments, and not all products are available or legal in all locales. It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure each item is legal in his/her state and local vicinity. AEA Arms will not ship or transfer to states where items are known to be prohibited.

Ammunition is shipped to residence with an adult signature release.

How do I track my package?

When your product ships, you will be provided a tracking number via email. You can also log in to your account to view the tracking number for your order. 

What if my package is lost during shipping?

AEA Arms will ensure you receive your purchase. If an item is not received and the time frame estimated for the shipping service you selected has been exceeded, we will send a replacement product. 

Can you ship a suppressor or SBR to my residence?

No. Upon BATFE approval (Form 3) we will ship the NFA item to your FFL/SOT dealer. This dealer will be working with you to complete the Form 4 and stamp tax. Upon BATFE approval of your Form 4, you will be able to collect the item from your dealer. E-Forms 4 have significantly reduced the Form 4 approvals.

 

 

RETURN POLICY

What is AEA Arms' return policy?

Firearms:

We do not accept returns for firearms or uppers. Orders that have been placed, and NOT shipped, are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

Any firearm(s) shipped to your designated FFL that is not picked up for any reason within 14 days of arrival or if you are not legally allowed to pick up the firearm are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus outbound and return shipping and any other fees.

DROS (Dealer background check paperwork) fees are non-refundable.

Firearms returns will NOT be accepted after being transferred from the dealer to the buyer. Firearms cannot be returned unless found to be defective or damaged upon inspection at the dealer prior to filing paperwork.  Please inspect your firearm thoroughly and refuse to proceed with the paperwork or transfer if you are not satisfied with the condition of the firearm.   After the firearm is transferred into your possession, any warranty issue will have to be addressed through the firearm manufacturer.

 

Any firearms left unclaimed for more than 90 days will be considered abandoned and re-sold.

NFA Items:

In order to maintain our goal of providing amazing customer service and fantastic pricing, a 10% cancellation fee will be applied to any canceled order where a serial number is assigned during the order process. This 10% cancellation fee applies to most orders but must be prior to AEA Arms initiating the BATFE transfer process, which is typically within 48 hours of the order.

 

If the BATFE transfer process has been initiated, and a return request is made within 7 days of purchase, a 35% restocking fee will be applied to the refund amount. All pre-orders, orders 7 days or older, and shipped orders do not qualify for refunds. 

Ammunition:

We do not accept returns for ammunition.

Night Vision warranty:

AEA Arms warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period. If the product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, AEA Arms will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product free of charge.

The warranty period varies by product and manufacturer. Please contact your sales representative for details. The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

The warranty does not cover any product in which the serial number has been defaced, modified, or removed. Damage, deterioration, or malfunction of any product or image intensifier resulting from accident, misuse, exposure to bright light sources, exposure to sunlight, neglect, modification of the product, acts of nature, an act of god, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product will result in the immediate void of the warranty. This warranty will also be voided if any product has been disassembled in any way.
